“Marriage: A Sacrament of Love”
Deacon Norm and Cindy Levesque, Diocese of Orlando
God created marriage to be sacramental, it is one of the foundational vocations of our Church, but what does that really mean? Saint John Paul II said, "You as married couples are critical to the well being of all society!" What is it in the sacrament that can make our relationships, both with each other and with God, withstand the pressures of today's world. With the sacramental grace we received, we can be God's living presence to everyone we meet.
Deacon Norm and Cindy will walk through the fundamentals of the Sacrament of Matrimony and explain the true beauty of the sacrament that we might have missed as we were preparing to get married.
“The Family: School of Love”
Danielle Bean, Publisher, Catholic Digest
What did St. John Paul II mean when he said the family "has the mission to guard, reveal, and communicate love"? Personal inclinations and cultural expectations set us up for disappointment and discouragement as we live out a call to self-giving love in marriage and family life, but God's plan for the family as a "school of love" is an opportunity to do great things with great joy.
Drawing upon words of wisdom from St. John Paul II, this practical, encouraging talk offers age-specific parenting inspiration and ways to overcome common obstacles to peace, balance, and joy in daily family life. With humor and a realistic understanding of everyday challenges of family living, Danielle reminds us to focus on the beauty, joy, and privilege of the family's unique call to love.

“How to Nourish Love in the Family: Gratitude, Reconciliation and Service”
Arland K. Nichols, Founding President, St. John Paul II Foundation
"Thank you", "I'm sorry", "Excuse me" - Pope Francis has said these three statements are essential for marriage and family life. Gratitude is a foundation for love in family life, reconciliation heals family relationships when we inevitably fall short of love, and service becomes love in action. Arland Nichols will draw from the wisdom of our Holy Fathers, past and present, as he teaches us how to nourish love in the family.
